Place to live after arrival
 

Hi all,
we are moving to Sydney on 9th October. Can't believe we have finally got visas and tickets in our back pockets! Can anyone advise as to how to go about finding our first apartment/house in central Sydney (Eastern Suburbs or Inner West ideally)? It will probably need to be short term (maybe 1 month) until we get to know the city a bit and figure out how to rent a longer term apartment or buy our own.

Hi,

We are currently staying in the www.meritonapartments.com.au while we search for a house. I am not sure of the price since the company is paying.
It is serviced apartments and would be ideal for you guys.

Thanks Mille, it looks rather pricy for us but I'll look into it further. It might be ok for a short while, thanks again tho
