Hog's Breath in Mandurah, crap service

Agree 100%. The food's not too bad but the service is painful. We usually go as the kids eat free. Seems a good deal but not been for a while now as totally fed up with waiting so long for our food. Or 2 of us will have had ours and finished by the time the other 2 meals arrive.

Just to go along with PP's thread.

When I arrived here in 2005 I thought the food was great. Now I think it's very poor value in too many places. And yet still the crowds flock to these places.

Worst value for me?

Essex Restuarant in Fremantle.
Wild Fig in Waterman's

for me its Ruffinis (sp?) the italian on the foreshore in mandurah, my wife ordered chicken and we all thought it was pork as it was just knuckles of fat, they said it was chicken thighs? to cut a long story short there were 10 of us and 6 sent the food back (some twice) i told them to phone the police as i wasnt paying for crap. they said bloody pommes want every thing for free and asked us to leave and ALL the waiting staff slow clapped us as we left. NEVER will i ever go back to that dump again and i would recommend that no-one else does either. also to change the subject slightly, dont bother with Impact Realty in Rockingham, the refused us a rental, the agent told me "they dont rent to Brits as they trash the houses". neither would she give me the $400 back in cash i'd given her the day before, only a cheque. apart from that, all good.

That is awful, on both counts. My hubby wanted us to go there sometime. So glad I read this first. Cheeky barstewards! As for the realty agent...... could that not just be that they don't keep cash on the premises? Nevertheless, the Brits trashing houses thing is a bit rascist, isn't it?

yes your probably right they dont keep cash on the premises, but as i gave her the cash at 5 pm thursday night, and she "put it in the safe" why couldnt she give it me straight back on friday, when she insulted me with her comments?.
And yes VERY racist, i should have told her, forget renting i want to buy cash, .....but not from you! worked out well really got a bigger house for $40 a week less with a pool.
sorry to hijack the thread.

Saying that, I'm there for a power lunch this Friday.

I agree, the C restaurant has fantastic views, but the food is ridiculously over priced and tastes crap!

Never had a decent meal in any restaurant in Perth.

They probably aren't betting on repeat customers. :)

Can't remember the name of it but it's a couple of doors down from Ninos fish and chips in Mandurah Marina - a Chinese, looks a bit just like a takeaway but you can sit outside and eat it. Possibly the worst food I've ever had from a restaurant.
