Perth as a world cup venue.....what a joke

Re: Perth as a world cup venue.....what a joke
Disagree (well partly agree). Rugby in England, Scotland and Ireland is very much a middle class, 'what school you went to' sport. In New Zealand, Wales and South Africa it is very much a working class (all class really) sport. This probably explains why the latter 3 countries have, over the whole life of the sport, been so good at it.
Rugby is the national game of the Chinese Army.

As his only 'skill' seems to be an ability to carry boxes I assume he must have been brought as a kid as I don't believe 'box shifter' ever made it as far as the CSL.
As for 'controversial', I think Lord Farqhar may have a genuine complaint about refereing consistency as he was sent to the sin bin for seven days for a lot less than this clown has gotten away with.

. A boy must not be allowed to watch cartoons of any kind. He should spend Saturday mornings sitting quietly by his Father's side (with a respectful 3" between the male bodies), watching sports that don't involved male leotards. He must watch Football, Basketball, Baseball and Boxing. Soccer is not a sport for civilized people and often results in alarmingly long, uncut penises escaping from very alluring satin shorts. Soccer appeals only to poor, uneducated halflings from underdeveloped countries where the women grow mustaches twice as fast as the men. Make your child aware of this. When there are no sports on TV, take your boy out in the backyard and throw the football or play catch with a very hard baseball. Under no circumstances: wrestle in shorts, especially if your son is strapping, handsome and sporting a noticeably turgid crotch................

Maybe you should try the 24 hour sports bar at the casino instead of arguing on here. I'm sure some of the pubs in Joondalup/Rockingham/Mandurah will open up for England games

I couldn't have asked for much more than seeing the Aussies being mullered 4 - 0 in their opening game ...
In Craig Moore & Lucas Neill you really do reap what you sow. I'm surprised they didn't pick Muscat to play sweeper ... Now that would have been a side splitting show stopper ...
Verbleak and that clown Arnold at his side ... Dumb & Dumber.
It's a hoot ... but those horns are anything but.

I can't see the Aussies scoring in this competition. I said it months ago when I lived there & watched their games. Verbeek has set his stall out to soak up pressure and rely on the counter or set piece ...
Take Cahill out of the side and the set piece threat is diminished ten fold.
There's no pace in the side, they don't possess a natural finisher and the back four is laughable ...
They had their chance four years ago in Germany and too be fair went out in unfortunate circumstances.
I've just watched the first half of the Chile game and they do look a side.
