Perth love it or hate it ?
 
Well??

We love it and are glad we moved .

As it always gets lotsa debate do you love it or hate it ?????

you are asking for bother you know :)

Its the best move we ever made as a family and although it has its bad points and problems for us the good far outweighs those things. If only all the whingers would piss off back and stop giving all the happy poms a bad name then I would be a happy chook.

LOL good reply , i figure that a poll may help those moving???

Enda Brady from sky news , who does the uk report on 6pr each day , is here this week .
He has been blown away by Perth .
One coment stood out on the radio 2day , when asked about perth and its bad press , and he said you know somethings good when others try to bag it out !

I don't know if it will help or not, people should keep an open mind really and not listen to us or the haters and make their own mind up.

Well, we love it, the kids have settled well, and so far - no problems.

But then we have only been here since November - ask me again in 6 months and it might be a completely different answer.

It's far too ordinary to generate emotions as strong as love or hate. Totally ambivalent.

Almost 12 months for us and we all love it.

We've had our fair share of ups and downs,but I guess we would have had it anyway,no matter where we were.

Wouldn't go as far as saying we *love* the place but it's certainly a darn nice city to be bringing our kids up ...

Mum & Dad arrive tomorrow for a WEEK :eek:

Completely agree NB, also the "Perth is boring" comments piss me off, get off your arse's (sp) these plenty to that does not include the beaches!!! god that felt good to say:lol: :blink: :o

Had a bit of a down in the dumps day yesterday (yes even i get those), all better now, went of a nice walk on the beach to remind me life is good:D

The first few months are hard.............but it does improve. I wouldnt go back for anything...................but..................I really do miss my mum and my sister.
