how come people from perth are always having it off with each other on here..

the gold coasters arrange everything together, golf days etc.you dont see them bickering all the time.

i think it would be a good idea to issue members in perth with boxing gloves..

were all gods children wherever you live in perth..

peace be with you..

aston..

I must be doing something wrong cos I haven't had it off with anyone on here.....yet.

There is definitely something polarising about Perth, but more than that those that don't like it seem to stay and be unhappy, annoyed that so many of us love it.

That is so true, they reckon we don't understand how they feel, but by the same token they won't understand how we feel either - or accept it.

Its the "on here" bit that scares me. I didn't know you can do live streaming on You Tube.

Although its great to get advise and info from other Poms on here - Is it really helpful long term to have meet ups and golf days etc?

Surely the best way to integrate is to get stuck in!

I know other English over here an get on fine - but its soo much better with a cultural mix.

Thats my view anyway - but then I moved to australia because I prefer the people.

There a new war drama starting on TV soon.

Apparently it's a fly on the wall documentary of Perth :D

But not all of us are Poms. At one meet in Adelaide I met a lovely woman originally from Iran. I'm Canadian. It's more the expat experience than a Pommy one.

Listen, Ast, if you want a golf day then I'll look into booking something for us. We'll need definite numbers, etc, but I'm not working at the moment so would be happy to look into it. Can we just wait until a bit cooler weather? I haven't had my golf clubs out in over 2 years and can't stand the thought of playing in this heat.
