Pay it Forward

What's the best piece of advice or tip that you've found or been given that you can pass on to others, on making the move to Australia

If you spend most of your time back in the UK:-
going to watch your fave footy team
around close family
out in the pub/club regualrly with mates

Then Oz is certianly not like that - so think hard!

Dont come here with any expectations... arrive at the airport with an open mind and be prepared to put yourself "out there" in an attempt to meet new people and make friends.

These are the first 2 things that came to mind for me, so I'll have to think of another.

Don't compare everything to "back home".

It's not England. It's a different country. If you want England stay in England.

Bring 4 way power boards/power strips and change 1 plug instead of 4.

Keep the fuses from any UK plugs you remove for the ones you have left.
