Patak's sauces - Are they REALLY made in the UK? - My curry still tastes inferior?
I was both surprised and pleased to find Patak's products in Coles. It says it's made in the UK and it looks the same. Is there something wrong with Australian rice and / or Australian chicken. Why does it not taste like a proper Pommie curry?

I cheat with Pataks and have no issues with the taste whatsoever. I think you're just weird. |

I use Patak's all the time too and never have a problem. Add fresh veggies (tomatoes, peppers, onions for a good Madras, spinach & chick peas works really well too)....

Make sure you get the paste, not the sauce.

Only Poms could get excited by packaged curry sauce.
The freeze-dried, pre-packed, pre-prepared, frozen food nation. |

The freeze-dried, pre-packed, pre-prepared, frozen food nation. Pre-packed? I've not been to South Africa... you mean you don't have pre-packed food over there? Awesome. |

I am extremely immature, and therefore very good at responding. Your call. |
