Panic, we are finally moving over!
It has only taken us 3 years to finally set a date. It could be something to do with husband not finding a job in UK I am being made redundant and 11yr old son couldn't get into snobby local secondary. So we have nothing to stay in UK for now! Anyone know of a school wanting a couple of whingy pom Technology teachers?
Seriously we are moving Gold Coast / Brisbane way and need jobs and good suburb to live for the kids sake. Know of any? :thumbsup: The panic has also set in as we are on a 5 month countdown now and we still have a house to finish and an unbelievable amount of stuff to sell. Jawk. |

Just in case you don't know you have to be registered here for teaching. The process takes some time and you may need to get things from UK; without this certificate they will not let you into a school. In some areas there is a desperate shortage of teachers but like elsewhere some schools are hard to get into, almost a waiting list.
