(Although the sweet and sour pork I knocked up for dinner was very nice.) We'll be having buttermilk pancakes for breakfast at the weekend, with fresh berries, yoghurt and maple syrup.

Ideally i love to have mine with Hammonds Chop Sauce smeared over them but as she's forgot what day it is i'm currently enjoying a salad

Fluffy buttermilk ones with butter and maple syrup. 
Dinner is sorted for me and my daughter but since the old man refuses to have the whole "breakfast for dinner" thing he's going to have to fend for himself.

Sorry but American style pancakes don't cut the mustard on Shrove Tuesday. I am with Eddie, thinner the better and only with sugar and lemon juice. Just the way I was brought up of course.
