Oz V Croatia *****SPOILER*******
HOLY SH@T IT'S 2 ALL. My tv liscence is once again wasted and the oz/croatia match is on free view and not on normal bbc. So I have to sit here in front of the computer to watch the score which is updated every two minutes. We need to win or get a draw. God this is unbearable. - ps I have a very old pc so can't watch (before you ask)

Fantastic result - congrats to all the Aussies on here.

absolutely brilliant!
thought the croatian coach was gonna keel over cos he looked like an angry farmer from the first minute :scared: . i've nearly cracked at a few games e.g. england portugal 04, england argentina 02 etc but that last 10 mins was purgatory...me and the missus (aussie) screaming at the telly, then the kids screaming cos we was screaming, bedlam bedlam bedlam. gotta say well done aussie, italy will be very worried cos aus play a great pressure game but can keep the ball too, and by my reckoning if they get past italy they might meet either switzerland or ukraine...it goes on and on... anyway he/she (above) is happy...

I reckon listening was worse for those last 10 mins than watching would have been. I've been following football since 1968, and that was the most tension I've ever had to endure.
I wont put myself through Listening on a radio again. Stupid commentators didn't help, because it was the local ABC coverage and by their own admission they didn't have a clue what was going on. So you would hear the crowd, (I'd personally fill in the gaps incorrectly thank gawd) then the commentators would retort "whats happened" then they would get the corect version of of the TV. It was "Hell"

I missed the first 15 mins thanks to my digibox deciding that last night would be a good time to get every channel bar BBC3 
, but my boyfriend (English) was phoning me every few mins with updates - bless him he is just as excited as me about the Aussies playing! Finally managed to get BBC3 working though and what a game it was! The last 10 mins were so tense it was almost unbearable and my nerves are totally shattered! Bring on Italy!
