is that good or not...i don't know as i have never been to Subi Oval before and only bought the ticket off a friend last week!! Got home at 12.30 the trains were chocca there is free parking space right outside the oval on grass area and there seemed to be plenty of spaces. If we had known this then would have taken the car. There was a warm up band on for a while before Robbie but I have never heard of them. Max beesley was on drums and Johnathan Wilks if you remember him from the UK think he did you'v been framed Robbies mate. Well he did a couple of duets with Robbie. Dont go too early as Robbie does not come on until 8.30pm to 10.30pm and the place did not really start to fill up until 8ish. There were not too many queues at all and we arrived at 6.30 basically walked straight in. Wish we had waited until 8pm to go in as it made it a long evening especially since it was bloody brass outside lol. We were oval A gate 8 and managed to get front row at stage. It only took us about 20 minutes to get out at the end of the evening as there are plenty of gates. There are food and beverage stalls inside should you be hungry. If you are taking the train get off in city and transfer to Freo line and get off at west leederville. Its basically 1 min walk to the oval. Have a great night and take a camcorder if you have one as you are allowed them inside the oval. Take care and have a great evening. Mags xxx |

This is exactly the kind of information I wanted to see. Although I wish I had been told in secret now as everyone else will be following your advise :D |

Lynne x She was in the seats surrounded by people who didn't appear to be Robbie Williams fans. She and her mates went down onto the pitch to get in with the standing crowd. To sum up, great show poor atmosphere. |
Re: Oval A or Oval B
Brilliant show!!!!!!!!! :)
Cept for the boring people beside us who kept asking everyone to sit down! Sorry, but not sitting down when the ppl in front of us are standing and blocking our view! Bought the programme (as always) but this one is just pictures and has no reference to it being for the Australian leg (like some people's programmes have). Still - yummo pics of Rob though!!!! He's such a hottie!!!! Can't wait for tonight's show!!!! Transport was brilliant, we parked at Warwick and caught the train down.... If anyone saw a cuddly sized woman in a white cotton traders, England rugby shirt - then that was me! :p For those going tonight (can't wait) You are in for a fab night!!!! :) |

Sounds like we will be in a good position, same as you. I will be in touch soon Mags.. Take care for now. Rach.x |
Re: Oval A or Oval B
Great night, great atmosphere.
The screens were amazing, even if you are right at the back of the oval you'd feel really involved because he plays the cameras so well - the ultimate show man! We live western suburbs, so parked at Claremont and got the train. If you are planning on eating in Subi I'd go very early, we were there 5.30, took till six to find a table anywhere and got our food well after 7 - luckily the wine came much quicker!!! Got to the oval for about 7.45 as the support band was finishing. The queues in the oval for booze and the loo's were horrendous, but thats to be expected. As someone else said, Robbie was on at 8.30is, and finished at 10.30. He did 3 songs for the encore, we left just as he finished singing the last one - we had our 2 small girls with us and didn't want to risk them getting crushed or lost!! Five minute walk to Subi train station and we were home by 11.05. It's worth noting that there are marks on the platform where the doors of the train will be when it stops. There was just a sea of people behind us trying to get down into the station, so I'd do we what we did and leg it out quick or go to the pub until it's died down a bit again! Enjoy tonight guys ;) :) |
