One small step
31st October 2004
First trod upon Aussie soil with wife and 2 sons in tow.
It may have been Halloween Day but we didn't have any broomsticks.
Virgins we wuz.........in at the deep end.
When did you land?

Re: One small step
Depends if you mean when I went on a WHV in my younger years, either of the 2 holidays with my Australian wife (one being a validation trip) or when we moved over to live - and then there's maybe a future date of when we move back.

I had in mind the date you arrived for full time settlement but all have significance of course.

We landed 28th November 2011 for a visit to see if young spark would agree to try a permanent move.
Happily he did, and we landed permanently on the 8th April this year

Re: One small step
We landed at Brisbane Airport at around 6am on 10th January 2008.
We had left snow at Manchester Airport (some worry that we wouldn't get away) and gale force winds at Heathrow (lots of worry that we wouldn't make the connecting flight but fortunately everything was backlogged) and it was around 38C in Brisbane.
It was ******* hot.
