OMG, I'm unemployed
 
Well that's its folks I left work today:cry_smile::cry_smile::cry_smile: very emotional day and I am now unemployed for the first time in my life:eek:

We've got 4 months or so before we leave for Oz - I guess I might be able to find some sort of temporary work over the summer. Or, maybe just chill out......?

I fly out to Brisbane in 12 days (that's if no more volcano's errupt:ohmy:) to join hubby who has been there since January:D

how do you feel about a career in Nigerian Fund Management? I have a contact who keeps bothering me about wanting someone to manage some overseas funds that need releasing but I don't have the relevant experience. He is willing to pay $10,000,000 for a one off job but I told him I don't get out of bed for less than $20,000,000

Who uses the word 'résumé' any more? Haven't heard that one in ages...

I have never heard the term "CV" used in Australia, it is almost exclusively "resume"
