Well done. Just don't buy anything from the tospot that just robbed me and seems to still be robbing people. He goes by the name of ebid auctions and is company registered as UConnect. You basically don't get what you bid for. and if you complain he gives you negative feedback.

Tis always nice when a virgin is stoked.

Now tread carefully or before you know it you'll need a bigger house to hold all the EBay wins.

Thanx - I hardly slep I was so excited

Tcikets sold out really quickly here and just had a bit of a windfall so was really pleased with myself. Hopefully will post some pics of concert if I get any decent ones.

PS Anyone know exactly what VIP tickets means???

Well done sasbear! Unfortunately for me I got ripped off by a bloody ebay seller last month! Won an item, she said she would send it on the 12th of March and hey presto 15th of April and still not arrived! And cos I paid by bank express and its under $25 I can't claim my money back! She didn't even have the decency to answer my emails, the bitch! Its the bloody principle of the thing and now I'm wary about buying from ebay although I never had any problems before!

I tried to sell my car on ebay a couple of years ago and some scammert put a bid way above the asking price on it - I was a bit green with ebay at the time and didn't know I could remove the bid so it meant my car didn't sell. When a dodgy looking cheque for the amount they had bid turned up I contacted the relevant authorities. Needless to say the car went on Autotrader the following week!

Having said that I have also had some great experiences selling stuff on eBay too. I've used it for the last few years to sell bits and pieces when our decor has been changed or when we have bored of a new and short-lived hobbie, and when we moved away from UK we sold loads of junk and made a small fortune for it.

I've used ebay succesfully for years and love it. BUT now I've had my first sour exeperiance and I've discovered a problem with ebay that has really pissed me off. I bought something from a shister that lied about the goods. He was selling loads of these false goods so I left him negative feedback to warn others. The problem is the spitfull git then left me negative feedback and a load of lies about me. So even though I am the one that is innocent and have been robbed, My rating has now been tarnished unfairly and ebay have passed the buck onto paypal! Basically I have to take it up with paypal to sort it. WTF surely this is ebays problem?

Anyway peeps just be carefull.

They weren't that fussed when I reported attempted fraud to them either.

The other thing to watch out for is people who shut down their accounts and open a new one once they have been sussed out for their bad behaviour...I have heard it happens a lot, although no first hand experience of it myself.

Just put a comment next to your feedback from him.

Generally I'm more concerned about bad feedback from a seller than a buyer. Also one bad feedback comment isn't that bad, I've had it myself and still managed to sell quite a bit in spite of it, mainly just by commenting on it.

I know what your saying, I too only pay attention to sellers negative feedback. What these muppets don't realise is I have his real name cos he wrote it on the envelope and it matches his paypal account, I have his ABN number and his registered company name. I know his address in sydney and all I can say is he must like eating through a straw!

Indeed. All buyers and sellers have bad days when they miss the post or forget, its more important for sellers of course.

I also use Ebay, have spent thousands this year, all ok.
