The OH
 

For those of you who remember 'The OH', who used to post here a few years ago... It was discovered that he had oesophageal cancer last year. He had major surgery followed by chemo.
He outlived the predictions his surgeons gave him and passed peacefully tonight, at 5.30pm, surrounded by lovely friends.

He knew he was dying and he kicked a whole lot of ass.
I'm happy to have known him and proud that he was my friend.

I've added on a shot that I took last year in Byron. We had a couple of days together there. I flew up twice over the past couple of months to spend some time with him and only spoke with him on Tues of last week...which was our last conversation and even that was full of laughs.
He never stopped laughing, even in the toughest bits and he departed with a smile.. in true Richard style.
