Thanks all 
Now the hard bit has started.
We're really excited......BUT to day I had to say goodbye to one of the best friends Ive ever had.
Weve been through illness, parents dying, had hols together with our families our kids have grew up together...the lot.
Theyve gone on holiday today.
It was bloody awful and Ive got it all to do again with the rest of my family and friends
Kay ...Ive had texts from Debs....shes a star, shes meeting us at the airport!!!

We are the same, movers in Monday/Tuesday, out house Thursday, flight 18th September. OMG!! :scared:

We had a scare a couple of weeks ago when we found a tumour on our dog's neck. Took him to the vet who thought it was a benign growth, but this was only confirmed last week on biopsy. So we breathe again. Apparently it was a tumour that is not uncommon among young dogs, but it is also linked to vaccinations. 
Particularly annoying for us as we would not have had him vaxed if we hadn't been coming to Oz.Still, he's okay now - just can't go out in the garden to lie down as he likes to do in case his large bald patch soaks up too many rays. The fur is growing back - but it's a slow process.
We got our PR at last - about a month ago, perhaps. Celebrated our first anniversary here last weekend. It's been an eventful year, to say the least.
When are you flying out? We flew in the middle of that catering strike last year - not a fun experience going from London to Bangkok with no food, and our hold-up on the way to the airport meant we didn't eat before we boarded either. The aircon had broken down in the economy cabin too...
