Obama? He's a bit pony really.
He's not exactly lived up to the promise. Giving him the peace prize looks hasty in hindsight. (It looked hasty in foresight which makes you wonder why they dolled it out so quickly.)
And as he launches his campaign for the next election it looks like the Republicans can't come up with anything better. Not that they had anything better before. It seems that we've entered a period of uninspiring politics in the western world (and I'm not just talking about the US). |

The peace prize confused the hell out of me at the time. It's the same old same old. The country have to get rid of someone who's well past their sell by date, go for someone who seems inspiring and then realise the new one is all mouth and trousers but the opposition haven't had the time to build up any quality with experience so they'll stick with the devil they know.

We don't.;) Is that serious though? Is he really attempting to head that way? That's almost funny.

Reagan seems relatively normal now when you see the 'Tea Party' contingent.

I saw the Donald Trump thing the other day.
I actually quite liked Reagan (and Bill Clinton). Not sure why. |
Re: Obama? He's a bit pony really.
So the rumours of him being hung like a horse were exagerated were they?

Lots of people got suckered in by the Obama mantra. And if I remember correctly some here even used images of him as their avatar!
