I'm soooooooooo sooooooooooooo desperate to hand in my notice. But I'm still waiting for formal confirmation of my job offer that allows me to get visa so I CAN'T. 
It's sooooooo unfair I want to just quit but what happens if it all fell through. It would be bad enough cos I've sold the house and have to move out soon but not having a job as well
I'm such a wimp............. I'm just not brave enough

I have to say this is the best thing (this website!). It's so nice to know that so many peeps are in the same position...makin the move to the ideal location. Had v v good day today, went to the solicitor to get documents signed etc, had really good chat about plans for Oz, jobs and all that, bless her she didn't charge me! All feels positive, just got to wait til april (cringe- wanna go asap) but like people have said, make the most of the time left here (marmite & weetabix!)

Gave advance notice that I will leave when schools break up for summer on the 27 June (as I work in a school - in Scotland!)
But now that I have handed in my notice I'm finding the days are dragging and my heart isn't in it anymore.
Trying not to show it too much at work but it's not easy!!

As others have said it will be here before you know it! We now have only 4 weeks left and although I can't wait I seriously do not have enough nights and days left to fit everyone in to visit to say bye time goes so quickly, enjoy your last weeks and take pleasure in the small things you'll miss when you don't have them any more.

Hi there - heading to Redcliffe - my mum emigrated in Nov with her new hubby who used to be an australian citizen so we will have somewhere to base ourselves initially until we have a scout around ourselves and suss place out. OH not got job set up but step dad says every day the paper is full of work for sparkies so we will wait til we are there as OH needs to see about licence etc and most employers prefer you to be pr's first.

already put a stone on by socialising goodbyes and meals!! Finish work next week and have 3 weeks to get it back off!! Hopefully, will be avoiding the restaraunts soon. not good.

Yeah, I have been to a leaving barbecue every weekend for the last month. Ans guess what ? Yes another planned for this Saturday.
Had a bonus yesterday also, was supposed to finish on the first but work said I can go on the 31st,..,
Sweet.
Tried to hide my happiness, didn't work very well.
Anyway it is Friday at work, not many more to go, hang on in there guys and enjoy !

LOL about your work - my hubby finishes Fri 1 June - boss told him to finish up Thursday as end of month and guess what - my hubby works for and english company so he gets the BH on Monday too - so only has to work 3 days next week - lucky sod!!!
I'm sooooooooooo jealous - no chance of me getting away earlier I'm finishes on last day of school term 27 june so not likely!!
PS Enjoy your friday and just think not many now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
