The work cover system is a nightmare for injured workers to navigate through. Don't for one minute let them persuade you that they have your interests at heart.

In summer, if you are the first to it, let the water bubbler in the park run for 10 seconds or so before drinking

You may wear thongs in public (no, not THAT kind!) and pyjamas are fine to go shopping in.

Treading on a cane toad in bare feet is one of the worst things you can ever do.

Your pale, pasty, Northern Hemisphere bred skin will burn. Quickly and painfully (as experienced by this particularly pale/freckly idiot who didn't think she needed sunscreen for her 30 minute outdoor lunch break yesterday in Perth).

- An approximately 1 month cycle where even if a commuter fills up at the bottom of the cycle, they will need to fill up again whilst the price is quite high.
- An approximately 10 day cycle where those that fill up on a particular day will get stung regularly.
Generally speaking the price at the bottom of the cycle will be close to the terminal gate price (eg they are probably making about zero profit at these times). So everything above that price is profit (an average of 12-15c).
None of this is real, it's all engineered by the companies. The government does nothing because, reasons...

Learned this the hard way...
Although the path to the swimming pool is beautiful on the way to the water, after a very short time that cement floor turns into invisible hot coals and you wish you hadn't put your belongings 50m away under the shade sail as you do a stupid walk/run/hop back to your sun bed hoping no one has seen the faces you are pulling when your feet are being burnt to a crisp at every excruciating step...
