Not long...

...now till I'm back. Land back in Adelaide on Saturday evening.

It has been such an emotional 3 weeks. Without the wonderful support of my family, my husband, and friends both RL and virtual, I don't think I could have done it.

Hated saying goodbye to my dad yesterday. Am worried about how he will cope with life as a single man, after 53 years married:( He assures me he will look after himself and get things sorted, but there is always a worrying niggle.

Thank you to everyone who sent kind words to me either via the posts, PM or Karma. Knowing we have been in your thoughts has given comfort.

Time is a great healer, that, with the love and support of his family and friends he'll be okay. Telephone him a lot and remind him often that you love him. Hugs,

Look after yourself! This will be one of your hardest farewells but I guess you'll just have to trust that your dad is grown up and can look after himself and hope that he has a support network around him to help him through. Saying Cheerio is a bugger tho! Safe trip!
