Polly - never seen her get in a cyber fight with anyone, always helpful and love her sense of humour oh and also she is a fellow west country/bristol person who loves cider

This place is cliquey enough as it is without threads like to further re-inforce point.
Some people post alot.... Some post good insightful, thought provoking or interesting stuff. Some people dont post as much... some people post a lot of rubbish.
Doesnt really matter does it?... Sometimes this place feels like a club with a small committee of active members and a few thousand people who show up every now and then.... Theres no need to 'worship' people with threads like this simply because they're regulars

My votes go to real legends like Baldbutts, Ceri & Dotty.
There are a few more with a dry wit that are a source of constant amusement, rewarded by Karma rather than openly on here, I wouldn't want to be seen to be encouraging delinquent behaviour

I was just thinking about the real "legends" from years ago like those three Ceri, Dotty, Baldbutts, even the likes of PB, remembered long after they stopped posting. Maybe they stuck in people's minds more cos the forum was so much smaller then, or maybe cos they said so much that some of us found hard to believe until we actually moved here and discovered it really was just a different bucket containing the same brown stuff
