Yes, we have logic, we are not stupid, I did not start this thread so people could tell me the obvious. And no, we are not greedy at all, far from it.
I wanted to have a vent over some morons who showed absolutely no respect to our home and our agent let them. |

However. 1. to be able for people to know what they need to pay for it, you must price it. Thus by pricing/valuing you are giving the potential buyer a benchmark to achieve. Thats not to say, they are or you are unrealistic, or illogical or greedy. Its the natural course of commerce. as Ruskin said, it is impossible to get a lot and pay little. Houses have always been tagged with the must have 99 at end of price or 49, just so they appear cheaper. Personally, I think... you should get 3 valuations. Take the total of these valuations, and divide by 3. Then add 10% to the price, and market it at that for 3 months. This gives you leverage, to barter and to reduce price accordingly. Ste |
