Hi everyone,

We are Craig and Nicky, we're thinking of moving to Oz with our 3 children
(15, 13 and 10) and four dogs!! No idea where yet, possibly Perth area.
Don't really know where to start or what to say, no visa application as yet, we've toyed with the idea of emigrating before but nothing came of it, this time we've made our minds up this is what we want. (Scottish winters do strange things to folk!)

Anyone offering advice, info or just to say hi would be appreciated.

We are also new members to the community, (Harry & Yuni). Having said that we are almost 10 months into the application process. We live in Indonesia and have had 3 great holidays in Australia in the past 7 years. Good luck and remain patient.

We have just joined BE site but have been in Oz since May 07. 'We' that is me, my husband, 5 kids and 1 dog. I realise that some of you have been here a bit longer but if you have any questions about getting here etc etc especially where your dogs are concerned get in touch

i have just found be aswell im on my 2nd try here with my home sick mrs who says this time she is here to stay

this is a grate country but i could be biest with been aussie from birth but british raised lol

you will have a laugh on here and get some good advice to boot

We're also going to Perth, 2 kids (15 and 12), 1 dog, 2 cats, just waiting for the visa to come through, driving me nuts!!!!

Hi everyone

We are new here too, me, OH, 7 year old daughter and dog. We are just getting our TRA application ready to send into the agents. We are using GoMatilda after reading about them on here. My OH is applying for 175 visa. Not sure about all the abbrevations on here, but I am sure we will learn :)

We are new members also, hoping to go to Brisbane with kids 14, 12, 10 and 6, application went in last month, waiting for next stage meds etc, feeling a bit down as we seem to have been thinking, planning, and applying forever!!! but hopefully just 4/5 months away from getting visa.

We are hoping to go on 175visa, had to do RPL for ACS accreditation and do Ielts for points required, also applied for permission for kids, one my OH and three mine.

I think its going to be the best move we could make, dont get me wrong i dont think its going to be a case of sunshine and champagne! i am sure we will have to work hard to make the move work for the whole family. OH has been to Aus but me n kids have never been, but looking forward to having Bali on the doorstep though!

This site is great for reading you can lose hours n hours reading other posts which mostly are really helpful and informative, go for it what do you have to lose!
