My lads (aged 7,5&3) watched an old classic of Laurel and Hardy the other night...they were nearly wetting themselves!
At the time I felt quite good about giving them an old harmless classic to watch....until they later started slapping each other and trying to trip each other over

My 6 yo (as also the rest of the family) loves Mr Bean and yeah, Fawlty Towers too...lol, most of it goes over her head, but she loves Manuel and mos of all, the episode - Hotel Inspectors
....then of course she loves Dora (the freakish character with her eyes taking up half her face!); Bugs Bunny; Tom & Jerry...

The only thing that my kids asked about was why Laurel and Hardy shared a bed

My eldest son became a fan of Mr Bean when he was only 18 months old. He would wake up in the morning and demand "bean" - it was one of the only words he could say at that age - he was rather late speaker.
My youngest became a fan of Pingu.
They now are Mike Myer fans and even copy lines from the movies!
Did your kids have similar interesting comedic tastes in TV/movies?
