Moving to Cairns From Melbourne
 

Hi, jsut looking for a bit of advice on moving to Cairns. I have been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years and have had enough so looking to move to cairns to be closer to my in-laws. I have just found out that I'm going to be made redudant so thinking this is the best time to do it. I'm just a bit nervous if this is the right move, I lived in Tassie for a while and found it difficult to get work as I was a Brit :(...what are people's experinces in getting work up there, I'm a PA and was wondering what the job climate is like. I know it will be a total change in lifestyle from Melbourne which I'm looking forward to especially with a 3 year old..how have people found making friends and how do you find the lifestyle...any thughts and advice would be apprciated...thanks
