Moving to Australia from the US

:)I'm hoping to find other people from the US who are trying to get visas to Australia. I love to here about your joys and dreams and your fears. I have very mixed emotions on the subject. Also people who are new in Australia from the US. How's it going?

Hi Tonyman. Where in Washington are you? My husband's aunt lives in Seatac and we used to go down to visit her all the time. Certainly not that Seatac is the nicest area of the state, but I loved it there. We lived in BC for a few years before moving back to eastern Canada. Where in Australia you planning to go to?

I am in Shelton, Washington which is about 25 miles Northwest of Olympia. To be quite honest with you I am tired of Western Washington - too much rain.

At one time we were thinking of moving to Canada but changed our minds; we much rather have nice weather all year around.

We're heading to Brisbane, Queensland.

My wife is American (also British) and from your area in Florida. In fact, we are headed there next week on holiday.
