MOTO GP

Do you get this in Oz (presume so given you have a race at PI). If so do I need foxtel or something to get it? Do foxtel have something similar to Sky + where you can record?

If you remember from your UK days we have British Eurosport with excellent coverage or a Suzy Perry on the BBC bluffing her way through for 15 minutes before the race started (if you got it live without golf or cricket interupting). Would prefer excellent coverage of 125, 250 and GP.

For some reason the moto gp race on eurosport now shows 2 hours later and not live! Dont know why, but have to put up with that minger perry & two useless so called comentators on the beeb.

Re: MOTO GP

It is because the BBC were given sole rights to air everything live. We all went nuts because we like Toby, Julian and Randy so Dorna eventually gave in and said Eurosport can have everything live except the GP which must be recorded and shown after the BBC live coverage. It is a shame but by then we lost Randy as their decision was made so late on.....hence the reason why Toby and Julian don't commentate every weekend as they made prior arrangements.

Still don't know how Eurosport managed to show Qatar live but glad they did.

I only watch the recorded stuff after the BBC. Can't be watching Perry and the boooorrrriiiinnnnngggg coverage by the BBC commentators.

Re: MOTO GP

It was and it was good to see his big banner (pardon the expression!). Good also to see Colin Edwards up there and James Toseland with his well deserved 6th. Just not sure what's happening with Nicky Hayden and that Ducati.

Re: MOTO GP

I must take a solo stance here and defend Suzi Perry and BBC. Suzi is ding dong

I find the BBC excellent to watch. I have always preferred it over Eurosport. Anyway, well done Vale:thumbsup:

I saw him win at Mugello a couple of years ago, and have tickets for Donnington in a few weeks time. It is staggering he is only 30 years old. A true legend.

When I was in Oz, (18 months ago) Moto GP was shown live on channel 10 (or 7 or possibly 9 - anyway I am drunk right now and point is it was on a free channel)

Foxtel show the Moto GP and WSBKs live. In addition if you have a TV with a HD tuner the new Channel 10 HD One channel has been showing Moto GP live too.

Suzi Perry is the business, she can bluff here way through anything for me.....

Come on Stoner...... wipe the smile of the little puffs face today as you know Rossi bats for the otherside with his little friend in tow....

Aye, it's on ONE tonight, shown live at 8.30pm.
I'll be settling down with my beer & popcorn to cheer the Doctor on.

Straight after they're showing the 250 races, then an Isle of Man TT preview, then the Australian Superbike champs. If you don't have a digital tuner, thats enough reason to buy one for just tonight!

OK, so reading up this thread I've seen it's not live and the race was yesterday. So I'm going to pretend I didn't just see the results, and wipe who won from my memory, so I can watch it later. It'll still be good to watch, as ever....

Re: MOTO GP

Currently Foxsports (Pay channel) have just introduced another ($16 / Month extra) channel (Fuel) on which they are showing the MotoGP..... :sneaky:
Channel 10 show it about 11pm on Sunday nights :- Full GP race and Full 250 race but only highlights of the 125 race :frown:
BUT are showing Laguna Seca next Monday at 6:45AM

Channel 10 / OneHD, both free to air have just claimed the rights to televise MotoGP from next season

Gee it would be terrible if rossi was a poofta, I mean a homosexual winning motor-cycle races. What next women riding motor-cycles:blink:

Give your head a shake!

Re: MOTO GP

The flag at the back which is in your pic was right behind me.

It has to be one of the most amazing experience to be in Italy for a motogp. To see Stoner rip down the home straight at 200 mph overtaking everyone, only to find out his Ducati handles like a Ford Capri around the corners, and see the Goat ride past him on the exit corner. Sweet.

Re: MOTO GP

Yep. It was a great weekend except for the weather at practice and the morning of the GP. Wifey not impressed at sitting out in the pissing rain. Biggest memory is that of 6 people on a moped tanking up and down the track after the race as well as the atmosphere. Good day for Rossi to win. The italians are nuts for it.

Wouldn't do Barcelona again though. They are a scarey bunch.

Is that a permanent thing? I just assumed it was because the other channels were showing tennis and rugby. They have bumped the odd race to Fuel in the past.

Anyhoo back on topic, Not so sure VR is fruity to be honest

But what a rider now he canny be happy about competing with his team mate week in week out as he has never really had to do that before.

Did Lorenzo seem to back off towards the end ?? Or was he playing safe as he could not, both catch and pass VR ?

Also was expecting something special from his mates in the celebration department and I was not dissapointed :thumbsup:

Aww bud! I reckon you should start a suzi perry poll, I just dont rekon she does it for me at all, plus the daft interview technique. The brolly dollies make her look even worse too, imho
On the topic of full on sexism, how mutch silicone do you reckon will be on display at California this weekend?
