Loved what I saw of Adelaide, the approach in the plane was a bit hobart-ish, small city, lovely surroundings. I wil visit again, want to see more of the city and the hills, certainly what i saw has me hooked

Port Vila, called in on a fairly big cruise boat, didn't find anyone who had enjoyed it and the cruisers still call in. I think the port fees are very low, no pilots and virtually no services apart from a sort of security.

Should have gone outside the town. If you didn't get a chance to do that, then maybe it's just not suited for cruise passengers these days. We lived there many years ago and found the Island fascinating - though not Vila itself, to be fair.
