What a bizarre story. Can you imagine the scenario where the suspect/collar-bomber asks the girl "Excuse me dear, can you try on this necklace I made just for fun?" And did this girl answer "Sure, no worries, do it whilst I call the police."

Dad gives a Press release all smiles-Bloke your daughter was less than a Millimetre of having her cranium a permanant fixture to your mansion.
No CCTV,NO Security,No Police Patrols,No-One saw anything in one of the most expensive,paranoid locales in Australia with no doubt the most elaborate paranoid security systems installed-but yet No-one detected a thing.
Family request privacy,yet the "Victim' has her life story and countless photos plastered all over all the media???????Released by who???
Alleged Kidnapper"Instructs" victim to call Police?????
Absolute no identification other than a "Male" of the alleged TERRORIST-love how that came out in the media.Good Police work there Lou.
And Blonde and blue eyed-case closed your honour on all abductions,rapes,murders,thefts against any women not rich,white,blonde,young and escp.no blue eyes.

18 YO Girls dont generally think like that. Not in my experience. So it wouldn't have been her own idea. Would be quite a few others involved if she was party to this.

But if it happened in the manner that it's so far been reported, can you imagine the distress of the young girl and her family as they were made to wait outside while she was calmed down and talked through it for ten hours by police officers. Imagine the fear of the young officers (who probably had their own families waiting for them) while they sat with her. Speculating about the families involvement by the public is the same type of thing that got Lindy Chamberlain locked up.
