Didn't work though.
I was 3 weeks over with all mine....
The midwives would say, with a conspiratorial wink, 'Go home, have a hot curry and some hot sex...'
I thought, 'Have they ever had sex at nearly 10 months pregnant? It's like shagging an ink blotter.'
Anyway, that whole prostoglandin thing... you'd have to be having sex for 6 weeks before the due date every night to get enough to get things moving.
I suggest a turkey baster and a donation rather than sex. Much less tiresome.

My indian neighbour told me Indian ladies drink ghee in hot milk. Beats castor oil hands down.

Reminds me of a joke:
Haemorrhoids, I had this problem years ago along with the problem of bad breath.
I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for haemorrhoid cream and Colgate toothpaste. I made a mistake, I cleaned my teeth with the haemorrhoid cream and I put the Colgate paste up my bum.
The following morning all my teeth fell out but at least I had the ring of confidence.

Yup.
I had a scan to tell the size of the baby. The doc said the babe had a 43 week femur, a 34 week radius, and a 36 week head. I said 'Right, that's it, get it out whilst the head's still small enough...'
