Thanks to every one for their concern. :) We were without power for over 48 hours. Internet and phones took longer and have been up and down like a jack in the box. First got back online last night but was knocked off again within a few minutes. Seems to have settled down now. |

We are 35 mins from Roleystone and our house has been reeking of smoke to the point we have to shut doors/windows but thats about it, luckily we were not anywhere near the danger zone.
I can offer temporary shelter for cats/small dogs and birds in my garden for any displaced pets in the Roley/Kelmscott fires - with regards to dogs, small breeds preferably de-sexed if males. I have one small cat cage and the offer of a large aviary for birds and a seperate area in the garden for dogs. |
