Mechanical Engineering qualification help
Looking for some help :)
Is it possible to build on a city and guilds qualification in order to gain a degree? Hubby would like to get a mechanical engineering degree but is unsure of how best to go about it. I've looked into tafe courses and found these courses available I'm just not sure if they are what he needs to do http://www.tafe.qld.gov.au/cis/index...ry=209&tafe=14 I also found this http://www.eit.edu.au/mechanical-engineering I emailed them a few weeks ago, not heard back from them yet. Had a look at the open universities website too but couldn't find anything relating to mechanics! Can anyone point me in the right direction here or offer any info? Is it even possible for him to build on what he's already got or does he need to start from scratch and do a 4 year postgraduate degree? Ellie |
Re: Mechanical Engineering qualification help
I would suggest that he contacts the Uni admissions centre or goes on one of their many open days, to discuss his career to date - recognition of prior learning may significantly reduce the 4 year degree requirement ;)
