As you know he is well known for it so it was no surprise to me, I would have been flabbergasted if he had been any other way.

Re: Me and the Barbie
I think possibly the Aus section has more of a history of conflict between the very pro/ anti people than some others.
It's worth remembering that there's a large degree of subjectivity in whether a country suits us.
I am guilty of being a bit of a doom-monger about the US but I try to keep it in the spirit of warning people about to set out on an expensive and difficult path of the possible pitfalls.
If people are having a good time there then that's great. As I said, my son lives there and my daughter will probably go back and of course I want them to have a good life.

Re: Me and the Barbie
This is a zero sum game. There are just as many comments on here from posters that say 'just like the U.K.' when anything less than glowing is said about Oz.
I'm not sure everything has to be so polarised when it comes to Oz and the UK. I just live where it suits me at any particular time, right now it's the UK, if that dollar drops below a certain level it may be Oz again and will certainly be Oz before Flipper starts high school ( not for educational reasons though).
When taking an extreme stance on anything and engaging with others of the opposite opinion, nobody ends up covering themselves in glory.

We have never said we are here forever so again my input into the Australian section is totally justified.

I cannot believe this thread. Seriously Chris how old are you? What would you do if some of your work colleagues didn't like you or didn't like some of the things you said or did...throw a pity party?
For goodness sake man up.

I don't really understand why anyone cares either way. It's the internet. "Reporting" people is primary school behaviour. If you don't like someone don't talk to them, or if you want to debate them do so. That is all.

But but 'they' are picking on him, singling him out for harsh treatment. Apparently.

What an attention seeking thread this is.
"Look at me! Look at me! I have my own thread and everyone's talking about me."
tsk! tsk!

You seem to have misunderstood the thread, it is about admin talking about limiting where I post.
