Sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved dog
mine passed away almost a year ago (31 March) i still think of her and i didnt talk for 3 days and didnt eat for 4 it felt like i had lost a child/ best friend and a grandma rolled into one. She is buried in our front garden under our fruit tree and i still say hello to her every time i walk past.. The loss does get easier to bare but i think it was negligent of the vets to say that they had lost the body of your dog
Like you said some other Boxer will be well looked after thankful that there are people out there who really do love and care for animals...

Hoping to find some comfort, in the fact that your not here.
I look out into the open field, that you once occupied,
Knowing now that field is empty, because my love, you've died.
I do believe with all my heart, that your soul has gone to be,
With all the other angel dogs, that you were meant to see.
We will have to stay behind, until God calls us too,
So do not be afraid, that he's only called for you.
The water is still, in the pond that you played,
And your bed is so empty, where your pretty head laid.
Our bed is to empty, where you once laid between,
the two people who LOVED you and now only dream,
That one day our eyes will shut one last time,

I too have a boxer who I love to pieces- they are such special dogs aren't they?

they are special tuching your heart the have a habbit of doing that lovely poam so true as she was we are just thinking of the good times with carla as usual footballs come to mind this is my fav pic

this is my girl- she is 2 yrs old in July
think it might be a bit big though!
