Looking For Some Part Time Work in Sydney?
 

Hi,

I've recently arrived in Sydney. Just been 6 days so far. I am looking for some part time work whilst I look for work in IT.

I have australian permanent residency. I am good with computers since I worked in IT as a Developer programmer in India.

I find it very boring to be at home and not doing anything. The work would keep me occupied and some money is always welcome.

I am keeping an eye out on Seek for Part time jobs but most of the data entry/admin jobs I have seen are full time and I don't wish to commit to them.

It would be highly appreciative if anyone would know of a position in which I may be useful.

Don't mean to be :( but it's REALLY tough trying to find part time work, every woman and her doglet is looking.....good luck!

Would you consider some voluntary work while you look for paid work? I know at least one charity that's always grateful for IT vollies, it's good for your resume especially when you're new to a country, and there's always a chance they may have paid vacancies crop up.
