London Bookshops
Bit off the mark I know, but heading in the opposite direction and want to stock up on good ESL/EFL (English as a foreign language) books.
I know there is a specialist language bookshop in Sydney and Qld, surely there must be something in London. Google is going to take me all day.
Thanks for any ideas folks.

Go to Foyles bookshop. It's on the Northern end of Charing Cross Road... Get off the tube at Tottenham Court Road. There are lots of good bookshops there. You could also try the Waterstones which is next to Foyles, and to the NE of it, there's Blackmores (?) is it? Situated right in the middle of the University of London....
Foyles is your best bet.

***** me Foyles is good. It's not as pretty as Waterstones et al across the road but they have everything there it seems. You can almost get lost in it.
I've found a great shop here in Melbourne, down at my local market - tons of good books at reasonable prices.
