As for leggings, I'm not really sure what the name is. The sort of stuff you wear under something, or when exercising, or when teaching. You would know more about it than me. And she has this nack of looking good even in gear that would look council estate on other women - but I put that down to good posture. She herself sometimes comments on this - she's not mean about it - it's just one of those things.

I dont know why more women dont wear corsets, they pull the gutbucket in and add the hourglass figure. Makes the jubblies look bigger too.

They also prevent you eating and drinking and cause you to pass out because you can't breathe. Apart from that, yeah, they're great.

Maybe cos we have realised its pretty pointless trying to look like we have a decent figure when we know we can never compete with the likes of Mrs Badge

I remember the horror of seeing my grandmother discretely take one off after a dinner. I think I was about 4. I don’t think women wear them these days do they?

Edited to add: I prefer the fuller figure woman myself.

or pass me another Steward, I've broken this one

Personaly I find Tri-srvice mess dinners amusing with us all having different traditions. Well apart from the RAF, they're not old enough to have traditions
