Lets Get Fit!!
I know what some of you are thinking? ...'LETS NOT!' Sorry..
OK, do we have any gym bunnies on here? Any runners? Any anything really that involves burning the calories and toning up.......Come and join in and share your fitness ideas, plans, advice..
I keep relatively fit, but I want to get fitter, I don't go to the gym at the moment, haven't got the time, but I'm hoping to start next month when I finish work.
The things I do at the moment are running with the husband, I'll just do a few miles with him then he carries on to do more as he's training for the London Marathon.
I do Hula Hooping classes, I teach that, just for fun, it's great for the waistline, men if you are reading, it's great for yours too!
Erm, that's about it really at the moment. But I want to start doing weights, eldest has a weight bench and I had a sly go the other night and nearly bloody killed myself, so I think I need to go and do it with the professionals at the local gym.
Anyone else on here do weights?
Have we to take measurements? . Yeah lets do that!
C'mon now don't be shy.....let's get fit. Or at least try.
I'm taking bets now on how long this thread will last.....

Re: Lets Get Fit!!
I run and do CrossFit 5/6 days a week. I used to belong to a 'normal' gym but can't see me ever going back to one - boring. Www.crossfit.com
I also walk the dogs about 4/5k every day. I do this because I love it and also so I can eat!!

Re: Lets Get Fit!!
My gym membership expired 3 weeks ago, after 18 months of pilates, yoga, balance and a couple of sessions of light weights a week.
I feel awful, and can honestly see flabby bits where there was nice toned bits I have been exercising too, walking etc but its just not the same.

Re: Lets Get Fit!!
I walk 3 hours a week (as I have MS it is all I can do) and when I can, I swim for 30 mins non-stop.
Measurements? 32/26/35 - inches, not cm.

Re: Lets Get Fit!!
Before embarking on any form of exercise your must prepare yourself mentally and the easiest way to day this is with an evening of enhanced relaxation. To achieve this you need just three things, a box of hand made chocolates, a bottle of vintage red and a good DVD, put them all together and you will notice a huge improvement in a very short time.
