Default learning to drive in oz

has anyone got any information on learning to drive in oz as i have now no more excuses of why i have not learnt to drive and oh has demanded that i learn when i move over to oz

so whats involved ???

i know nothing about licencing in your country....may i suggest checking it out between the 2 and go with the one that is going to be the easiest....? it is a long process in Australia now to get your licence and also lots of restrictions..i dont' know how they compare to your country. good Luck

I think thats the hubby warning you "He is not driving you around anymore". I have been told the same, get out and learn how to drive as soon as you get of the plane. Men!!!!!!

Not sure on actually learning to drive over here, as I passed in the UK, but IMO it would be easier here, most people drive automatics, so all you have to do is learn how to steer !!! I was a little worried when I got here, but it is literally long straight roads, with a few traffic lights now & then....!

Maybe someone will be along shortly who has actually had lessons here.
