Fixtures out Season 2014/15 Hyundai A-League draw revealed - Football Australia 2013
Rather disappointing to get the second team / smaller club of Melbourne as the opening game
I think all other teams were hoping to play the City big boys first up. ESFC get that pleasure. Maybe Victory would have preferred ESFC first up rather than us also if they had to play a Sydney team.
I think they just wanted to get the Victory v WSW game over and done with asap.
I don't think there is any WSW V Victory game on a Saturday this season......they don't want fans travelling for this one. Round 1 being a Friday night will certainly kill off a massive WSW turn out, although will still be bigger than most teams take there this season.
Derby at Allianz second up, always exciting that one, can't wait
