really good been here 7 years now and have citizenship, back in Sutherland shire Sydney after a year of Melbourne

Pretty good, 6 1/2yrs, been on GC all that time, hubs tear working FIFO as not many jobs round here so that's not the greatest a. Kids moved out then gradually coming back one by one. Been back once, have you gone back at all?

yes I have been back a lot was there for 7 months last year as eldest autistic son was really ill and my mother had a dicky heart.
It was so strange I just slotted straight back into my old life! I missed Aus though:rofl:

sorry about the FIFO but at least he has a job I guess. How was the UK for you?

Strange, there were a few new developments where we lived so it looked different, but mates were still in same seats down the local. We were like tourists taking kids to Stratford, which was great as they were older, Harry potter exhibit etc. We walked round with grins on our faces and everyone gave us funny looks, didn't get the traffic and crowds, but then again it was Christmas. Glad to come home tho.
