no - just waiting for other people again.

6 months for the first reference

now he's working for someone else we've had to wait for them, and 3 other people only got them back this week, copied and sent off to a mate who will certifiy them - hopeing to get it all sent off this week.

Problem is, he turns 45 in march and that does not leave us much time what so ever to get the rest of the paperwork in before that. He's missed this assessment and now there isnt another until October:eek: (i think).

I really cant see us getting out there to be honest with you. NZ maybe but not OZ - the timescale is too tight.

You'll have to keep phoning everyone up, and make a nuisance so they will send the paper work off to get you out their hair..

we had all our paper work certified by a solicior and he only charged us £20.It should have been £5 per item, so we were quite lucky, just a thought in case he lets you down:)

No- he wont do that he's a proper mate and will do anything to help anyone.

I've just been charged £50 for certification of that stat dec I did about my blokes job.

Was told that it was all wrong and useless and needed to be done again.

Do you know what he did?

Added the blokes name and address on the first sentance and again on the last sentance. Thats it.

OMG what a rip off !! we had tonn's of paper work to be certifyed..5x passports and pic's 5x birth certicates etc etc, so like i said we must have been lucky..makes a change i suppose..

You'll find loads of things keep cropping up along the way that makes you feel like giving up.. but it you want it bad enough you will put it all behind you and carry on regardless..
so put your best foot forward and carry on as before:thumbsup:

oh I am, it's just that there is soo much that needs doing it's daunting. What with the first lot of solicitors doing a runner with 3 grand of our cash and the first copy of the stat dec and the time line I just feel as though I'm wasting my time. Still, if we get in it would be worth it all.

Our mate is qualified to do the certs so at least I didnt have to pay for that. One thing I suppose.

Your deffo ani't having a lot of luck. Is there any chance of getting your cash back?

I think its best if you break every thing down into small pieces and take one step at a time you will get there in the end..doing to much will only make you run round like a headless chicken and get you even more stressed..

Good luck with every thing.I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

And one that note i will say my last say as i'm off to bed.

nite H

btw you sounded like me this time last year if thats any consulation...
