I'm delighted too. Just a shame Elsa (the dog) has to go to Sydney as we won't be able to visit her. Mind you think visiting might be more upsetting.

Was pleased as daughter took Elsa to vet to have her booster and the vet said to her "I won't lie to you - Elsa will probably be stressed out but that's normal. It's because she will be missing you, but it's only for a month. Think how long she'd be stressed for if you went away forever"

I think that's making Carrie feel better.

I just keep thinking that time is passing by so quickly that the month will pass in the blink of an eye.

Good news Jan! When is your daughter likely to be over?

Hopefully before Christmas but she won't book her flight until the dog's travel arrangements are settled.

It will fly by Jan :)

That was nice of the vet to put it like that, hope it made her feel more comforted.

I'm off to be Jan.

Night love xx

Goodnight K

Yes you're right - I've been watching the flight prices go up - but fortunately it's only one seat - one way so should have a better chance of getting something.

She's a beauty Jan! I wouldn't come without her either!

Re: Last say

Well I did - I left her behind with my daughter who refused to come with us. Now she wants to come but won't leave her baby.....

Wish I'd taken her in June as she could've come to Perth quarantine then. They're booked up 'til Feb 2008 now so we have to fly her to Sydney and then have her transferred to Perth after quarantine. (another $1000)

:(

Saying that - it all happens for a reason. Thinking about it now - We were staying with rellies when we first came over and it wouldn't have been practical to bring her then.

Yes you are probably right.

Sorry for the delay in replying but I'm supposed to be working. These people keep coming in to my office and disturbing my BE social life.
