British Expats - Last say

Yes - I posted it the day before I posted my gran's birthday card. I spoke to my gran on sunday and she said her card had arrived - so I guess the book has arrived at the Sheffield address. I asked tom to let me know when it arrives - but he has been away this weekend.

Not sure if I will hear anythign from her. She is going to Sheffield for the weekend of her birthday (20th October).

My gran said that her (amy) knees had dislocated again last week - both of them. I felt awful and tried to email her but not sure if she has me blocked. Told my gran to give Amy a big fat kiss from me when she sees her.

OK - in the happy stage of a relationship with the GF he went back for. He isn't earning as much money there as he was on his apprenticeship here. His car is an old scrap heap with insurance costing an arm and a leg and he doesn't know now if he can afford to come back in January for his citizenship ceremony. I know I make it sound bleak - but Bloody hell - It took me over 5 years to get us out of the sh*t hole of a country for him to go back there:curse:
