It's a bit hot and humid here for red at the moment - so a nice ice cold Sav Blanc or for my more upmarket Christmas tree clientele, a nice drop of bubbles, preferably Veuve.

I was going to say that if we run out of sav blanc there's chardonnay or sparkling but there's a few sav blanc's in the wine cupboard so it may take a while to run out

Fabulous - we went to Dan Murphy's last weekend and I bought a nice couple of bottles of Shiraz that were two for $30, instead of $25 a piece so we should have a nice nightcap for Christmas night if it's not too hot.
