Hi everyone

finally after a year and 3 house sales we finally exchanged yesterday and will be flying out to secret harbour in perth on the 24th june 2008.

this whole procedure for us has been very painful lots of downs and not many ups, if our has had fallen through again i do belive it would of been a long time before we sold again as the housing market is on its knees.

I would not of got to where i am without the help and support of brit ex pats and would like to thank everyone who has offered both.

we are using doree bonner £3950 20 ft container very efficient and helpful would recommend

flying with emirates 3 adults 1 child through austravel £2000 from heathrow

anything else i can help with just ask

might see some of you on the other side!!

Get you guys

We were just thinking of you and if you had given up on the idea of going at all as havnt seen you posting for ages.

We to should be going at the end of June and should be exchanging on the house on the 1st, should have been the 21st May but it didnt happen.

Feels good to see someone like ourselves finally get there as its been 3 years for us in August and 2 years since we met at the meet in Radlett, everyone else is there and have been for a while, just us left.

When do you actually leave the house and a re you getting nervous, we are bricking it

Must speak before you go or meet when we get there as we will be in same boat

thanks everyone for your good wishes it is much appreciated, you would thing after all the heartache of the last year we would be singing from the rooftops but actually we are not we are just very nervous about the whole thing we feel better today than yesterday after seeing both our parents cry when we told them.

the amount of phone calls and paperwork i have done is unreal dont anybody think it stops when your house exchanges.

on the flipside we have got great things to look forward to in W.A. and will have our best friends to meet us at the airport.

mick we are completing on the 13th June and moving to my inlaws for 10 days and then flying out, if not before see you on the other side. i will still have the same email address so keep in touch

Brilliant news Sue & Mick - hope all goes a lot more smoothly from here on.

It's been a long haul hasn't it? As you know we're in Brisbane but suddenly Nikki has been asked to go to Perth for a week so by the time you've settled in we shall be visiting! (If all goes to plan and we get there around 3rd August)
