I meant to ask, can anyone recommend a really good pencil/kohl eyeliner? I find I have problems with panda eyes What have you used that stays put but can also blend/smudge nicely (maybe with some shadow if need be)?

I have an estee lauder one but I only wear eyeliner if I'm going out for a session. It stays on pretty well unless someone makes me cry with laughter and then it doesn't stay on so well I did have a liquid liner of theirs once, my god that didn't move!

Well, the full package for me is face primer, foundation, powder, on my eyes eyeshadow primer, 2/3 shadows, eyeliner, mascara and brow pencil. Then blush/bronzer, lip pencil and gloss. Not much really! Only takes about 20 minutes, I can do it in 10 but I like to take my time in the mornings, it helps me wake up, I find it kind of therapeutic! But in the summer I’ll wear far less, tinted moisturiser and gloss and have my brows and lashes tinted so that’ll take all of five minutes.

I'm on makeupalley, have been for years, it’s fab! We have meetups too where a whole bunch of us will get together and shop for makeup, got for lunch etc, great fun. And a member of beautypedia too…haha! Paula’s own products are pretty good, I love the 2% BHA gel for keeping my skin clear, great stuff.

Oh dear, the more I type the more I think I need help….

I don't use pencils I'm afraid, much prefer liquid for staying on. The Avon ones are really good actually, £3.50 each! Also Smashbox cream eyeliner is really good, easy to put on and loads of great colours.

Absolutely! I hate waking up so OH and kids stay downstairs eating brekkie and watching tv while I sit at the make up mirror and zone out for 20 minutes doing hair and make up.
By the time I get downstairs I can have a conversation without grunting

I've found the Avon ones good, they also do one with a 'smudger' brush (sponge) on one end, so you can get nice smokey eyes

haha! It all sounds a bit tragic I know but they're all lovely girls, come from France, Wales, Holland and all around London. We actually hardly shop for makeup anymore coz we've all become friends so we lunch and gossip about other people on the forum! It's a cool forum, can get girls in the US etc to send you stuff you can't get here.

ok, I'll go away and sit in my padded cell again now....

The Smashbox double ended pencil is great as it has a sharpener built in to the top (I can never find a bloody sharpener ) so you don't have to use the stubby little bit of pencil which i have done lots of times!! and the body shop eyeshadow in Black is great for going over it to make a more dramatic look (just use a thin damp brush and it won't budge)

That's great, thanks Zoe. not sure if they do Smashbox in Aus, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the other suggestions too ladies! I have no idea where I can get Avon but I'll check out their website.

We've got a buzzing Avon world down here, must be up in Brissie as well.

I think one of the TV shopping channels in Aus does Smashbox...but I didn't think Smashbox did pencils? they do a fab cream eyeliner.
