Kids today are so lazy!
Our was due on Thurs, still in the oven I've grounded it already
So far in an effort to 'help' things along we've heard.
Pineapple
Curries
Cleaning the oven
Anything spicy
Sex. that ain't happening, I'm too tired from training and that's what got us into this mess in the first place (come to think of it, I'm always knackered so how come she's pregnant? hmmm)

Long walks, castor oil and end up with a curry!
Two days is not late! You just want the bub here for Christmas so you can buy/open lots of prezzies now, be honest!

Re: Kids today are so lazy!
Thanks for the best wishes.
We've decided on an Anglo first name and Korean middle name (I suggested Kia cos I can spell it and pronounce it)

My friends little monkey was overdue by 2 weeks! And when he came out the babe's got much more hair on his head than his dad's! I think overdue babies are smarter.

Re: Kids today are so lazy!
Hours before the onset of labour, my wife shuffled 3km along our lane to a restaurant...
my father in law was looking at the dessert menu when my wife announced it was time*
my father in law did not get his pudding and went to bed early whilst we hooned it down the hill to the hospital....
* reminds me of the 1970s political slogan...

Someone advised a simple method: Nipple Stimulation
It tricks the body into thinking it's breastfeeding causing the uterus to contract (which naturally occurs after birth).

Re: Kids today are so lazy!
hehe brilliant thanks
Just back from hospital and all is on track but no signs of baby coming out. Just been to Tesco as well as I thought the crowds might shock baby into action. Alas unfortunately it was pretty quiet there today
It's weird preparing for baby here knowing that mid next year we'll be back in Oz. I'm not looking forward to going back but Mrs TB is up for it and overall happiness for the family trumps any feelings I might have about the place. I'll be getting on with life and hopefully baby will experience all that Oz has to offer.
Pretty sure there's a new bike or two in it for me though
