:mad: My lovely little 8 year old buy has sprayed WD40 into the freezer while he was playing in the garage with his sister. So we woke up this morning and got the bread out of the freezer only to notice the strong oil/petrol smell on ALL of the food. I have spent the day trying to salvage some of the meat while we clean the freezer out and try to get rid of the smell.

Friends say that he will grow up to be creative (I am just not sure that he will grow up at this rate!). I have no idea what was going on during their game that needed WD40 and it is probably better not to know :ohmy: . The smell itself isn't too bad but the taste where it has tainted the food is pretty YUK. I may well be feeding him WD40 flavour icy poles for a while so that he learns not to do it again :p .

Reminds me when I was young and got a can of fart spray from the joke shop and decided to spray it in every bodies wardrobe, I was not popular.

When my daughter was about 18 months old she climbed out of her crib and went into the nursery I had prepared for the imminent arrival of her brother. She found a jar of Vaseline and proceeded to smear the entire contents on every surface in the room. Herself included. The only was I knew she had got out of her crib was the banging on the door when she had closed it and her hands were too greasy to turn the knob again.
When she was about 3 and her brother was 1 she sprayed him down with a plant mister so he was nicely wet and poured a bag of flour over him. He immediately turned to paste!
An 8 year old with a can of WD40 has nothing on my little darling. Oh, and by the way, she has grown up to be a very bright, artistic, immaginative 12 year old. And we do laugh about those incidents now.

:rofl: He had sprayed his sister with the WD40 before and her clothes had to be thrown out so it looks like he has chosen his favourite meium to work with :p .

I had to chuckle when i saw that Dorothy, my SIL had something similar happen . when my nephew was 2 months old, my niece at 14months old covered him and the bedroom with a huge tub of sudocreme. It took ages to clean it all of. she to is very artisitc now:D

My little darling did it with Vick vapour chest rub. All over himself, his hair and
a full length mirror. He wasn't impresses when his eyes started streaming and burning!
The house smelt lovely!!
