Just Saying Hi
Hi!! 
As I can't find an Introductions forum, so I thought I'd just say Hi here.
My name's Miles and I'm emigrating (hopefully) mid-November on a 47SP (marriage) visa. My fiance is Australian and I'll be joining her in Melbourne.
I'm looking forward to my new life with her in Australia and am busy trying to sell the house and wrapping up my old life here. I'm glad that my OH is an Australian resident as it's taken a fair amount of worry off my shoulders; organising accommodation once I arrive, a vehicle, etc.
I found this site yesterday and it's very useful! The tips threads especially have helped me organise my to do list to include things I would not have thought of until the last minute. I'm also enjoying reading the updates threads of others who have taken the leap and are having a great time in their adopted country.
I'm looking forward to adding my own updates thread in 5, 10 and 15 years' time!

Personally I will, I suspect, be absolutely useless as a source of advice but if I can extend a helping hand at any time I will gladly do so. Good luck
